Welcome to the Class 4 page. Here you will find lots of pictures and videos of all the exciting things we do at school.

A quick reminder that library books are changed on Mondays. Children's reading books and spellings are collected on Wednesdays and returned on Fridays along with a challenge sheet.

We had a fantastic time at The Zoo and we saw lots of different animals! The children were able to say which animal group each animal was in and explain how they know this.

We went to visit our friends at Trinity Church this week. We really enjoyed learning new things and listening to Bible stories.

We have been learning about the different animal groups. Mrs Taylor brought her pet tortoise Django into school to help us find out more facts about reptiles.

Look at our amazing costumes for World Book Day!

Week Beginning 11/02/19

This week we have been looking at the story of The Gingerbread Man. We took turns acting out the story and even did some baking of our own. Not long after we had finished decorating The Giant Gingerbread Man, he decided to run away and take all of the little ones with him! As you can imagine we were not very happy about this. We created wanted posters that we shared around school and eventually found him trying to escape!

Here are some pictures of our very exciting week.

Week Beginning 04/02/19

This week we have been learning about the five senses. We have put each sense to the test in a series of experiments.

First, we used taste to guess different crisp flavours. Next, we used smell to identify different items while blindfolded. After that, we used touch to guess items inside the feely bag. Then, we used our sight to find missing objects from a tray. Lastly, we listened to different sounds with our eyes closed and tried to guess what we could hear.

Here are some pictures of us using our senses.
