We made flapjack this week. Mrs Cooper cut it into pieces for us to buy for 2p, 5p and 10p. Could you find the right coin from the money tin to pay her with?
We have been thinking about adding on 1 and 2 more. Look at us on a number track jumping to find our answers. We also counted topping pieces on our pizza and then added on 1/2 more bits. What pizza toppings did you choose? Did you like them?
We have been using ordinal numbers in our races this week to give out medals.
We have been looking closely at changes. We saw how chocolate changed by melting and freezing on our hot chocolate dip. It tasted good too!
Over the next few weeks we are going to be reading lots of Elmer stories about a special patchwork elephant. We changed our bread into Elmer toast by adding food colouring with a pipette. It tasted delicious!
We have used our hopscotch grids outside to work on 1 more and 1 less. It was great fun!
